Writers invited to meet at Des Plaines Public Library

Writers are invited to a meetup Thursday, Jan. 8, at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St.

The group will gather from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It’s an opportunity to chat and network with other writers, not get critiques or feedback on work.

The group usually meets on the first Thursday of every month.
