New video gambling parlor planned in Wheeling
An entrepreneur wants to open a video gambling parlor where one once operated in Wheeling.
The business, to be called Bonnie’s, is planned for 33 N. Elmhurst Road. Moe’s Cafe once operated there.
Chicago-area attorney Bonnie Singer is behind the proposal.
The village board, acting as Wheeling’s liquor control commission, approved a liquor license for Bonnie’s earlier this month. The board later approved a special use permit for the business.
Bonnie’s doesn’t yet have a state gambling license.
