Living Lord Lutheran Church, Bartlett, invites all to Christmas Eve services
Living Lord Lutheran Church, 1044 Congress Drive, in Bartlett, invites the community for Christmas Eve services on Dec. 24. The church will offer three candlelight worship services, including two contemporary family services, at noon and 3 p.m., and a traditional service at 9 p.m. All are welcome.
The noon and 3 p.m. family services will feature praise songs and simple, joyful participation from children and youth in what the church calls a “pop-up pageant.” The traditional service at 9 p.m. features a musical prelude, beginning at 8:30 p.m., of beloved Advent and Christmas hymns and carols. The service will include the pipe organ, other instruments and choral voices. All three services will include a special time to join together to sing the hymn “Silent Night” by candlelight (real candles for adults, battery-operated for kids).
