Final Geneva leaf pickup pushed to March

Geneva’s curbside leaf pickup program has been halted until mid-March.

It was stopped in November because of snowfall. Additional snow and cold temperatures prompted further suspension. The spring curbside collection will be limited to those residents who did not receive their third pickup. A map of those streets is at geneva.l.us. Meanwhile, anyone who can access their leaves is free to put them in brown paper bags and dispose of them for free on their regular trash pickup days through Dec. 27.
