Pickleball and badminton club proposed for Wheeling

The Wheeling Village Board meets Monday night to discuss plans to open a club for pickleball and badminton players, as well as other business.

The session is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 2 Community Blvd.

To be called One More Game, the athletic facility is proposed for an industrial building at 851 Seton Court. Hourly rentals, league play, clinics and open play are planned.

A special-use permit is required for the club to operate, and the board will consider granting that permit.
