Cases against Campton Hills ex-chief, officers continued
The Campton Hills police officers accused of official misconduct, money laundering and illegally selling guns appeared in court Friday morning.
Douglas Kucik was arraigned and pleaded not guilty. His next court date is Jan. 23.
Steven Millar and Daniel Hatt will be arraigned Jan. 23. Scott Coryell will be arraigned Jan. 30. Kucik, Coryell and Hatt are charged with official misconduct, theft, money laundering, and delivering guns before a 72-hour waiting period.
Millar, who was the chief, is charged with official misconduct, forgery, money laundering, misapplying governmental funds, wire fraud, theft, and delivering guns before a 72-hour waiting period is over.
Judge David Kliment removed out-of-state travel restrictions that had been placed on Millar.
