St. Thomas the Apostle sets Christmas holiday Mass schedule

All are welcome to celebrate Christmas with Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville. The Christmas week schedule concludes with Masses on Jan. 1.

Christmas Eve on Wednesday, Dec. 24, begins with a 3 p.m. Mass celebrating the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord in the church and in the gym. Mass in the church will include the children’s dramatized proclamation of the Gospel. Mass in the church will be livestreamed. It will be followed by a 5:30 p.m. Mass in the church.

The choir concert of Christmas hymns will begin at 9:30 p.m. in the church, followed by the 10:30 p.m. Mass in the church. Both will be livestreamed.

On Christmas Day on Thursday, Dec. 25, there will be a 10 a.m. Mass in the church.

On Friday, Dec. 26, it will be an 8:30 a.m. Mass in the chapel.

On Saturday, Dec. 27, Feast of the Holy Family, there will be a 4:30 p.m. Mass in the church.

On Sunday, Dec. 28, Mass will be at 8, 9:30, 11:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the church. The 9:30 a.m. Mass will be livestreamed.

On Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 29-30, there will be an 8:30 a.m. Mass in the chapel.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, the Eve of the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God (Holy Day of Obligation) will include a 4:30 p.m. Mass in the church. It will be livestreamed.

On Thursday, Jan. 1, Solemnity of Mary Mother of God (Holy Day of Obligation), there will be an 8:30 a.m. Mass in the church.

On Friday, Jan. 2, St. Thomas will resume its regular weekly Mass schedule at 8:30 a.m. Monday to Friday in the chapel; on Saturday, 8:30 a.m. in the chapel and 4:30 p.m. in the church; and on Sunday, 8, 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the church
