Another round of snow headed for the suburbs
More snow is likely in store for the Chicago area later today and throughout Wednesday thanks to another storm front moving its way into the area.
Meteorologists at the National Weather Center bureau in Romeoville are forecasting a wintry mix for much of the suburbs north of Interstate 88 beginning tonight, making travel treacherous in some parts.
Wednesday will be windy and cooler with about an inch of accumulating snow expected to fall over much of the suburbs.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the teens Wednesday night and remain below freezing into the weekend, with the possibility of more snow Friday and Saturday, according to forecasts.
