Aurora house damaged in fire

No one was hurt in a house fire late Saturday afternoon in Aurora, officials said.

The fire happened around 4:54 p.m. in the 2400 block of Crescent Lane. When firefighters arrived, smoke was showing from the rear of the single-family house. They found a fire in a workshop area.

All occupants had left the building.

The house was declared uninhabitable due to smoke damage.
