Elgin to hold second public meeting for Accessible Streets and Sidewalks plan
Elgin will hold its second public meeting on the Accessible Streets and Sidewalks plan on Thursday, Dec. 11, as staff continues to gather community input on priority projects intended to improve accessibility throughout the city.
The drop-in meeting is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way. Attendees will be able to review proposed projects, share feedback on priority routes and offer recommendations that will help shape the plan’s next steps.
The new survey is open through Christmas and can be accessed at surveyhero.com/c/Elgin-ADA-projects. It's also available, along with additional project information on the city’s Engage Elgin site.
