The uncertain cobot world
Sirens of A.I. today call web-surfing sailors to their doom. Artificial intelligence diminishes the “suspension of disbelief” as penned by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. We surrender our logic and thinking skills to “advanced technology.” However, artificial intelligence perpetuates induced and encouraged suicides, phony actors, poor movie dialogues, improper medical advice, uncorroborated news and “A.I. hallucinations.”
Today, we employ the word “cobots” (cooperation with robots) in order not to offend the A.I. robot in the workplace. We are now cobotting on the assembly line or workplace cubicle.
We suspend disbelief that A.I. machines might be wrong. Spell Check is a galaxy far far away. C-3PO are you listening?
