Aurora opens temporary warming centers

The city of Aurora will be opening its Temporary Overnight Warming Center at the Financial Empowerment Center, 712 S. River St. The entrance is through the main door and guests will be buzzed in through the security door.

The center will be open from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on:

Sunday, Nov. 30, to Monday, Dec. 1

Monday, Dec. 1, to Tuesday, Dec. 2

Tuesday, Dec. 2, to Wednesday, Dec. 3

The city's Temporary Overnight Warming Center is activated based on temperature thresholds.
