Glen Ellyn Park District’s Santa’s Mailbox returns for holiday wishes
The Glen Ellyn Park District is helping children of all ages share their holiday wishes with Santa this season through Santa’s Mailbox!
The district’s one and only official Santa’s Mailbox opens on Monday, Nov. 24, inside the Spring Avenue Recreation Center, 185 Spring Ave., Glen Ellyn.
Every child who drops off a letter by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, will receive a handwritten reply from Santa himself. Each letter to Santa should include the child’s full name, address, city, state, and ZIP code, along with their wish list.
“Dear Santa” forms, envelopes, and stickers for stamps and decorations will be available for those who wish to write their letters on-site. No postage is necessary. This magical service is free and open to the public.
Santa’s Mailbox is available during the open hours of the Spring Avenue Recreation Center: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 24-25; 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 26; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1-2; 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 3-4; and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5. It will be closed for Thanksgiving holiday from Nov. 27-30.
