Mamdani editorial crossed a line

You know I have subscribed to print media for over 40 years. I like the sports, some local news and the comics.

Recently, you really crossed the line on your editorial about Mamdani. So, what is your purpose now to promote socialism in your editorial section?

You claimed the election was just democracy in action. Well, it is very clear on Mamdani’s principles and what is expected to happen in NYC. It is also clear that his plan of socialism has never ever worked anywhere.

Plus, every day I see articles in Section 1 about how immigrants here illegally are persecuted and how ICE is bad. You will find, even in a blue state like Illinois that most of us agree with ICE deporting undocumented immigrants, because they are here illegally. They not just immigrants but illegal.

Illinois has made their bed with them by giving them drivers licenses and other benefits, which by the way is insane.

It doesn’t matter if they are part of the community. Their presence here is illegal, and they chose that path. Many have been here for years. I say, “So what?” and “Get them out.”

It’s time to clean up our country from a minimum of 10 million to 11 million undocumented immigrants on the Biden watch.

The United States and Illinois in particular have sided with the illegal community under the Biden watch and even before that by ignoring them and allowing them to establish their illegal communities. That must end. What also must end is your newspaper focusing on the promotion of illegal alien activism.

If you want to continue, maybe you change your name to the Blue Herald so it is clear you are not a news organization and nothing more than a leftist activism periodical.
