St. Charles Public Library celebrates Kwanzaa with storyteller

The St. Charles Public Library invites you to celebrate the spirit of Kwanzaa with storyteller Elizabeth Kahura at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2. The program will be online via Zoom.

Attendees will enjoy an inspiring program filled with music, poetry, and the beauty of Kiswahili.

Elizabeth Kahura, a Kenyan native in the United States since 1995, serves as a cultural ambassador for African knowledge. Over two decades, her African Safari Program has engaged more than 20,000 audience members.

As a storyteller, musician, and teacher, Kahura educates and entertains audiences through folklore, music, language, and creative arts.
