Lombard offers tourism grants

Lombard is offering grants to organizers of special events and other programs that support local tourism and lead to hotel stays in the Lilac Village.

Applications for the 2026 grant program are due by Friday, Dec. 12.

Eligible organizations are those planning to stage a festival, program or convention that attracts tourists and overnight visitor stays in Lombard hotels.

First-time applicants are required to attend a mandatory workshop to receive guidance on the application process. Application forms are available at villageoflombard.org/grants.

Funding for the tourism grant program is generated by hotel/motel tax dollars, not general fund tax revenues.
