Naperville names new public works director
Naperville has hired a new public works director who brings more than 20 years of experience to the role.
Daniel Randolph will take the helm of the department Dec. 1. As the assistant director of engineering and public works in Schaumburg, he managed several major projects, including the design, demolition and ongoing construction of a new Schaumburg municipal headquarters with a “modern prairie-style” design.
Duringt his career, Randolph has also worked in engineering positions for the village of Niles and the village of Mount Prospect.
“I am honored to join the City of Naperville as its new Director of Public Works,” Randolph said in a statement. “Naperville and this department have an outstanding reputation for customer service, and I'm excited to work alongside the talented team of leadership and front-line workers. Together, we'll continue to enhance the quality of life for the city.”
He holds multiple degrees from the University of Illinois.
