Planetary health check topic of Tuesday Green Drinks gathering

How resilient is Earth? The Planetary Health Check 2025 will be discussed during a Green Drinks event at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pizzeria de Ville, 404 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Libertyville.

Retired instructional designer, environmental educator and technical training specialist Steve Waller will discuss the findings of the annual assessment of the current real-world risks and opportunities for action. Waller will assess the nine planetary boundaries identified by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and profile how each is impacted.

Waller has taught wind and solar energy courses at Northern Michigan University and studies 80 acres of Carbon Capture forest.
