St. Charles bank robbed Saturday afternoon

A US Bank branch was robbed Saturday afternoon in St. Charles.

It happened at 12:05 p.m. at 135 Smith Road, St. Charles police said. The offender left on foot before police arrived.

The FBI is investigating.
