Migration question

Here’s a thought worth considering as we approach the polarizing topic of legal/illegal migrants. We all remember a slogan etched in the memories of all Americans: Remember the Alamo! And here is a question not given much thought today: How many of the Americans at the Alamo were legal migrants to Mexico.
