Breaking law has consequences

To the young woman whose father has been detained. Yes, he is hardworking, no he is not being targeted. He broke the law. He is still here illegally, making no attempt since he arrived in 2003 to become a citizen of the United States. This was his choice. Now there are consequences. There are laws, one must pay auto insurance and be compliant of traffic laws. Your family pays a huge price for your father’s stubborn ignorance, you in particular. You and your family have enjoyed the benefits of living here. School, and medical care just to name two very expensive examples. Good luck, and may you heal.
