2 men injured in shooting on Aurora’s near east side
Two young men were injured in a Friday night shooting on Aurora’s near east side, police said.
About 11:43 p.m., police responded to a report of two people shot in the 200 block of South Fourth Street. A ShotSpotter alert reported multiple gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival, officers found the two men, ages 19 and 20, suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.
The men were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and are in stable condition, police said.
No other injuries were reported.
