Hanover Township to host property tax appeals seminar Nov. 20

Hanover Township Assessor Khaja Moinuddin and Supervisor Brian P. McGuire will host a property appeals seminar at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Senior Center, 240 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett.

The Cook County Assessor’s Office will present information about the assessment appeals process and explain how to determine if an appeal should be filed. County staff will also walk attendees through the appeals process.

A question-and-answer session will also follow the presentation.

Registration is not required.

Hanover Township is open for appeals with the Cook County Assessor’s Office through Dec. 22.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their reassessment letters to the seminar.
