Fox River Valley Library in East Dundee hosting food drive to support local pantry

The Fox River Valley Public Library District in East Dundee will host a food drive from Nov. 10 through Dec. 30 to benefit the Fish Food Pantry in Carpentersville.

The library, at 555 Barrington Ave., will accept donations of nonperishable food items as well as pet food, hygiene and personal care products. The most-needed items from its holiday wish list include baby wipes, canned fruit, corn, beans and tuna, cereal, dessert mixes, dry potatoes, condiments, spices, pasta and sauces, bagged sugar, stuffing, and turkey gravy.

Community members are encouraged to drop off items during regular library hours.
