Wayne Johnson of Aurora will sign and read from “The Militarized Zone: What Did You Do in the Army?” Drafted in 1969, Johnson served in the 8th Army headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. His novel is based on his experience as a Specialist 5. Johnson writes a humor column for the Voice newspaper in Aurora. Sara Knigge will read for her late father Bill Christiansen. He passed away shortly after writing “My Story: Experiences of a LRRP/Ranger in Vietnam 1968-1969.” He was a sergeant with the 75th Infantry Rangers.
