Overnight lane closures along Arlington Heights Road begin Monday

Arlington Heights Road will be impacted by construction in two locations during overnight hours Monday night into Tuesday morning. Both projects are required in order to make critical water main connections, officials said.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, construction on Euclid Avenue at Arlington Heights Road will require lane reductions, but one lane in both directions (north and south) will remain open. Construction will require the complete closure of Euclid from Dunton Avenue to Arlington Heights Road and detours will be in place.

Beginning at midnight, construction at Arlington Heights and Algonquin roads will include lane closures just south of Algonquin. However one lane in each direction will remain open.

Village staff will be on-site at both locations to address any traffic issues that arise. Closures are anticipated to be completed by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
