Metea Valley Theater puts on Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’

Metea Valley Theater will present Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 6-8, at the high school, 1801 N. Eola Road, Aurora.

Dagger, crown, and curse. The Shakespeare tragedy is a journey into ambition, power, and fate. When a brave Scottish general hears a prophecy that he will be king, he and his wife set out on a dark path that spirals into betrayal, madness, and tragedy. This classic tale is filled with eerie witches, haunting visions, and fierce battles.

Tickets are on sale at meteavalleytheater.org. Seats are assigned so it’s recommended that tickets be ordered online to ensure seat preference.

Tickets are $10 or $5 for students and seniors. The audience is asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before showtime and enter through doors 1 or 14.
