Sneak Peek delivers early seasonal cheer to downtown Batavia

Get a glimpse of gifts to give this season during Batavia MainStreet’s Holiday Sneak Peek.

Set for 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6 in downtown Batavia, the event features more than 30 shops and restaurants fully decorated and offering extended hours, with plenty of live music, treats, drinks and make-and-take activities.

“Holiday Sneak Peek is an opportunity for the community to get a jump on the holiday season by getting the first glimpses of what the merchants are offering,” said Beth Walker, Executive Director for Batavia MainStreet.

Trolley stops will be available throughout the downtown, including north River Street and the corners of East Wilson and Washington, Batavia Avenue and First Street and First and Water streets.

“We love that it’s a charming way to kick off the holiday season downtown — riding the trolley around town to see all that Batavia has to offer,” Walker said. “Residents love getting a ‘sneak peek’ at the unique gifts, décor and holiday items from local shops as the busy season begins. It’s a fun, low pressure way to support small businesses and find something special.”
