Disciplinary hearing for two Prospect Heights police officers delayed

A disciplinary hearing for two Prospect Heights police officers scheduled for Tuesday morning was delayed by two of the three members of the police and fire commission being out of town, city officials said.

The complaint against the two officers regards a non-criminal allegation of their off-duty conduct, City Administrator Peter Falcone said.

A meeting of the police and fire commission must include at least two of the three members, he explained. While the rules permit one member to participate remotely, two members cannot.

The hearing is in the process of being rescheduled, Falcone said.
