Public hearing Nov. 6 on Quentin Road improvements
The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways is hosting a public hearing Thursday, Nov. 6, in Palatine, as part of its ongoing study of possible improvements to Quentin Road.
The hearing is set for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cotillion Banquets, 360 S. Creekside Drive. Key staff from the department will present the identified preferred alternative and proposed improvements, and gather input from the community.
The county is preparing a plan to improve Quentin between Lake-Cook and Dundee roads, a stretch that includes the more than 100-year-old Baldwin Creek and the entrance to Deer Grove West Forest Preserve.
