Portion of Northwest Highway in Palatine closed for water main work

A portion of Northwest Highway in Palatine will be closed until Friday, Oct. 31, village officials announced.

The closure will affect the curb lane for southbound Northwest Highway from the south end of Palatine Plaza to Robertson Street. No detour will be posted.

It’s needed to allow a village's contractor to perform work on the water main along Northwest Highway as part of the 2025 Water Main Replacement Project.
