Naperville Writers Group launches ‘Rivulets 37’

The Naperville Writers Group, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local writers since 1987 celebrated the release of “Rivulets 37,” its annual literary anthology, on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Naperville 95th Street Library.

The evening recognized outstanding writing with two founder’s prizes. Tom Moran, poetry judge, awarded the Marylyn Houghton Keyton Founder’s Prize for Poetry to Prabhs Girish for her poem, “Cleansing.”

Patrick Dunn, prose judge, presented the Richard Eastman Founder’s Prize for Prose to Ravi Shenoy, “The Two Kali Temples.”

Attendees also observed a moment of silence in honor of Robert Walker and Caroline Johnson, longtime guild members, authors, and volunteers whose contributions deeply shaped the group’s community.
