One dead, two hurt in two-vehicle crash early Sunday in Carpentersville

One person was killed and two others hurt in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning near the intersection of Route 31 and Gentle Breeze Terrace.

Carpentersville police said all three people were transported to the hospital following the crash. One died at the hospital, the conditions of the other two were not released.

Police did not provide any details about the crash, which remains under investigation. They also died not provide any information about the individuals involved.
