Facts that columnist did not show
I call B.S. on Stephen Moore. The Sept. 30 opinion article from Moore is full of Trump toadyisms. He acts like he is an authority on the Federal Reserve Board. In the 5 minutes after reading the article, I checked some facts he states showing just how distorted his view is. Spouting that growth is going to be 3% or higher for the year, with no one else but others from the Republican Party agreeing with him.
We had a 0.5% loss in the 1st Quarter. Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) says growth in U.S. will be 1.8%. Saying Powell with 300 PHD economist behind him, don’t know better than him. Blaming the inflation on Biden when the damage was done when COVID handouts from government were the real reason inflation took off. Too many dollars, chasing too few goods. $5 trillion in giveaways and allowing COVID to kill thousands (mostly elderly), which left their fortunes to the young who spent it, causing inflation. Claiming T-rump policies helped us to produce more oil while three out of four years under Biden were record years.
What he states is mostly true, but you have to know he is leaving out what he doesn’t want you to see. A failed attempt to join the Federal Reserve Board in 2019, probably leaving him bitter. Lives in Canada, probably to use their universal health care. The Daily Herald has to show opposing viewpoints, but if this is the best the opposition has to show, then what is that they did not publish.
