Deadline nears for Des Plaines library’s Wicked Good Writing Contest
The deadline is approaching for the Des Plaines Public Library’s third annual Wicked Good Writing Contest.
Open to kindergartners through eighth-graders, the contest challenges young writers to create two-sentence stories. Scary stories are welcome but not required.
Entries will be accepted through Oct. 29 at the youth services desk at the library, 1501 Ellinwood St., or online at dppl.org/blog/post/wicked-good. Winners will be revealed Oct. 31.
