Join St. Charles Unit District 303 Communitywide Education Facilities Committee
St. Charles Unit District 303 has officially launched the process for creating the Communitywide Education Facilities Committee.
Over the next five months, the district will be bringing together parents, staff, students, and community members to review, assess, and discuss funding options, school buildings, and learning facilities.
The school board is seeking input in four areas: funding, basic maintenance/upkeep, student-learning and activity spaces, and programmatic facilities.
The process will culminate in a Communitywide Facilities Committee report to the school board that details the community’s expectations in these areas.
The district invites parents, staff, high school students, and community members to serve on the committee and be a part of this important conversation.
If you are interested, there is more information – including planned meeting dates – in this D303 Communitywide Facilities Committee application via tinyurl.com/55w47ckt.
The application window closes at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30.
D303 leadership is looking forward to working with residents, parents, staff, and students to determine the right level of investment in the community’s education facilities.
"This is a critically important conversation for the entire D303 community," Superintendent Dr. Paul Gordon said. "We want all voices at the table, representing all corners of the district."
