Missing Des Plaines-area woman found by authorities

A missing 79-year-old Des Plaines-area woman with dementia was located by authorities looking for her since Thursday morning.

The woman was reported missing from her home by the Cook County sheriff’s office. Authorities reported finding her just before 3 p.m. Friday.
