Aurora church to install pastor, deacon Oct. 18

St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Aurora will hold a joint installation of Pastor Krista Zimmerman and Deacon David Webb on Saturday, Oct. 18. The public is invited to the 5 p.m. worship at the church, 27 S. Edgelawn Drive.

The Rev. Sunitha Mortha, associate to the bishop, Metropolitan Chicago Synod (ELCA), will lead the rite of installation.

Preaching will be Rev. Brian Wise, pastor, Our Saviour's Lutheran in Naperville and former St. Mark's associate pastor.

St. Mark’s is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Regular weekend worship is at 5 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. Sundays. The Sunday service is also streamed online on the church’s YouTube channel.
