Ascension Illinois offers free flu shots in partnership with local organizations

Get your flu shot! It’s flu season and to help keep our community protected, Ascension Illinois is partnering with local organizations to offer standard and high-dose flu shots at no cost. You must be 18 or older.

• Thursday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon at Hoffman Estates Park District’s Triphahn Center, 1685 W Higgins Road. In collaboration with Hoffman Estates Park District.

• Friday, Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Elk Grove Township, 600 Landmeier Road, Elk Grove Village. In collaboration with Elk Grove Township.

• Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hanover Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett. In collaboration with state Sen. Cristina Castro and Hanover Township.

• Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 18-19, starting at 6 a.m. during the Heal Elgin Free Medical Clinic at Judson University, 1151 N. State St., Elgin.

• Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Schaumburg Library Hanover Park Branch, 1266 Irving Park Road, Hanover Park.

• Saturday, Oct. 25, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Willow Creek Care Center, 67 Algonquin Road, South Barrington.

• Monday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon during Older Adult Community Market Day at Schaumburg Barn, 231 Civic Drive, Schaumburg. In collaboration with Schaumburg Barn.

• Friday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Elk Grove Township, 600 Landmeier Road, Elk Grove Village. In collaboration with Elk Grove Township.
