St. Charles North offers musical tribute with 19th annual Veterans Salute Concert

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, the St. Charles North High School music department presents the 19th annual Veterans Salute Concert, a cherished community tradition that is free and open to the public.

Join this evening of inspiring music and heartfelt gratitude to the veterans of our community at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 255 Red Gate Road.

Under the direction of John Wojciechowski and Kevin Dobbeck, the St. Charles North Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble will perform a program of patriotic and reflective works to celebrate the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans and families.

This year’s concert will once again be hosted by retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel Mark Powell, who will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.

Prior to the performance, a reception for all veterans will be held in the auditorium lobby, offering an opportunity for community and appreciation beginning at 5 p.m.

“Each year, this concert serves as a small but powerful way for our students to say thank you,” said Kevin Dobbeck, director of bands at St. Charles North. “It’s an evening of reflection, honor, and community — and a reminder that music can unite generations in gratitude.”

If you have a loved one who is a veteran, invite them to join in this special night as we express our thanks through music and celebration.
