Common sense needed on climate change
I saw in the Daily Herald recently that Elgin is going to save the world by cutting emissions 60% in five years and be carbon neutral in 25 years using green energy sources that are inefficient and expensive.
I believe we should be stewards for our environment. That being said, going to school in the ‘70s and ‘80s, it was the Ice Age and then global warming propaganda. Greenpeace Original member Patrick Moore calls the current agenda scare tactics. Former Chicago meteorologist John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, called global warming the greatest scam in history.
The Paris Accord is a trillion-dollar slush fund for global elitists. Just look at the former USAID.
Can you guess which U.S. cities have the highest lost time and costs due to the traffic congestion? You’re right New York #1, Chicago #2 both have 102 hours lost to traffic congestion.
So, here is a somewhat simple first step, common-sense approach: The U.S. and world cities sign a “Save Our Sanity” accord to make a concerted effort to actually help reduce carbon emissions by timing traffic signals and traffic flow to work so we aren’t driving from stop light to stop light and just idling away emitting carbon while losing our time and sanity.
