A sad end to commenting
To all my fellow posters in the Daily Herald comments section, it was a sad day when commenting ended, but a day we knew was coming and we all know the reasons why.
I always looked forward to my cup of coffee and the Daily Herald website to check in and see how the electorate was doing and add my two cents. I grew to appreciate the intellect, wisdom and shared experiences we all have. I’ll certainly miss it.
Above all, I was reminded daily that I am not the crazy one. That truth and facts still matter. And I would argue they matter to most of us. It’s unfortunate that a certain percentage of the population chooses to ignore truth and facts, and that is the saddest commentary of all.
