Lexington Homes unveils three models at Geneva Crossing townhouse community
Prospective homebuyers can now tour three newly opened model homes at Geneva Crossing, a community of 40 townhouses in Geneva, by Chicago-based Lexington Homes where sales and construction began earlier this year.
Geneva Crossing is located at 2763 Stone Circle, just west of Randall Road. It features three-level townhouse plans from the redesign of Lexington’s popular Mews series. Base prices start at $449,990.
The community is situated in a prime location near shopping, dining and recreation as well as historic downtown Geneva. It is already more than 25% sold.
“For a homebuyer making one of the biggest purchases of their life, there’s simply no substitute for visiting a model and experiencing the moment when you walk through a floor plan and watch it translate into an actual home,” said Jeff Benach, principal of Lexington Homes.
Benach said for a limited time, buyers who visit Geneva Crossing also can take advantage of financing incentives currently being offered on select homes, including assistance with closing costs and allowances for free upgrades.
“We also have two early-delivery homes available right now, so those who walk through the models and love what they see can potentially have the opportunity to move into their new home even sooner than they anticipated,” he said.
The new model townhouses showcase all three floor plans available at Geneva Crossing — the Orchid, Lotus and Juniper — which measure from 1,780 to 2,278 square feet and feature two to four bedrooms, 2½ to 3½ baths, balconies and attached rear-facing garages.
In the Orchid model, prospective buyers can see the main-level den unique to this floor plan, with optional French doors connecting it to the adjacent great room off the kitchen area. The model also shows a variety of options such as vaulted ceilings in its two upstairs bedrooms and kitchen finishes including a waterfall island and gray stacked cabinetry, which extends all the way up to the ceiling for ample storage. The lower level is decorated as a home office.
The Juniper model, which is an end unit and the largest of the three available designs, highlights the plan’s expansive kitchen with an oversized island and “tech center” nook for charging and storing electronic devices, as well as structural upgrades including volume ceilings in all three upstairs bedrooms, a traditional fireplace with mantel, and the addition of a fourth bedroom and full bathroom on the lower level.
“There are so many options for how to use the finished lower-level flex room that is included in every home at Geneva Crossing, we made sure to showcase the space differently in each model,” Benach said. “The Lotus model shows another upgraded configuration on the lower level, with French doors leading into the flex room and the addition of a powder room. But even without those options, buyers can use this flex space to create a dedicated home office, fitness area, home theater or anything else that supports their lifestyle.”
On the main level, the Lotus model’s kitchen includes an island and a large walk-in pantry, an upgraded fireplace with contemporary full tile surround, and oak-stained stairs and balusters.
All homes at Geneva Crossing include 9-foot ceilings and luxury plank flooring throughout the main level. Kitchens feature 42-inch upper cabinets, quartz countertops, a large island with seating overhang and energy-efficient stainless steel GE appliances. Baths include 12-by-12-inch ceramic flooring, dual sinks, quartz vanity tops and private water closets. Primary suites have walk-in closets, while the lower level offers a storage area. All homes feature smart thermostats and tankless water heaters.
The townhouses’ exterior architecture blends English elegance with a modern aesthetic, including a black and gray color scheme, brick accents, gabled rooflines and lap siding, along with large six-pane windows for enhanced natural light throughout the home.
