Hanover Township to host community shred event Oct. 11

Hanover Township will host a community shred event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, or until the trucks have reached capacity, at the William Tiknis Campus, 250 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett.

Only paper materials will be accepted, not plastic bags. Small paper clips and staples do not need to be removed. Residents are limited to two bags or boxes of material.

The event is co-sponsored by Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison.

Donations of non-perishable food and personal care items will also be accepted for the Hanover Township Food Pantry.
