Des Plaines officials to talk budget in October

Des Plaines city officials will hold two public meetings in October to discuss the proposed $230.2 million budget for the 2026 fiscal year, which begins Jan. 1.

Meetings are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 and Oct. 15 at city hall, 1420 Miner St.

An optional third meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22.

The meetings are open to the public and can also be watched online at desplainesil.gov.
