Meadowlark Quilt Club hosts craft fair Oct. 17

On Friday, Oct. 17, the Meadowlark Quilt Club will host a craft fair from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sunset Knoll Recreation Center, 820 S. Finley Road, Lombard.

Shop a variety of handmade merchandise, including quilts for all ages, baby bibs, microwave bowls, phone holders, and more. Each item is carefully crafted by the quilting club, which meets every Friday morning throughout the year.

The Meadowlark Quilt Club is committed to giving back to our community. Each year, they donate more than 1,000 quilts and other handmade items to local charities in Lombard and the greater DuPage area. Most of our fabric is generously donated by community members, making this a truly collaborative effort.

This craft fair is important for sustaining the program within the park district. The proceeds help purchase essential materials and cover maintenance costs for our sewing machines. Come support the club’s mission and take home a handmade treasure!
