Motorcyclist seriously injured after colliding with SUV in Libertyville

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday evening in Libertyville when they collided with an SUV exiting a restaurant driveway.

Police said the motorcyclist was headed north on the 1300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue just before 5:45 p.m. when the collision occurred.

The motorcyclist’s injuries were described as life-threatening and they were transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center. No one was injured in the SUV, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
