Fake punt sparks Barrington to win over Palatine
Tied at 14 in the first half, Barrington rolled the dice on fourth-and-8 from its 38-yard line and picked up a first down on a fake punt.
It was all Broncos after that as Barrington defeated Palatine 42-21 Saturday afternoon in Barrington in a Mid-Suburban League West Division football game.

When it was all completed at Saturday’s Palatine Meet of Champions Invitational, there were some stellar performances headlined by race winners Karlin Janowski of York and Jesse Gudauskas from Neuqua Valley.
Glenbard West gets win
The Hilltoppers are 5-0 for the first time since 2022 and 3-0 in the West Suburban Conference Silver Division with fellow contenders York (4-1, 2-0) and Hinsdale Central (4-1, 1-1) remaining on the schedule.
