Feels like summer, but the fun in Huntley was all fall
The weather felt like midsummer, but the colors, activities and atmosphere were all about autumn over the weekend at the Huntley Fall Fest.
A tradition more than two decades old, the annual three-day celebration at Deicke Park ushers in the fall season with family activities, live music, a carnival and plenty of local food.
Other highlights included car and tractor shows, a build-your-own-scarecrow station, a petting zoo and a straw maze.
The event is organized by the Huntley Festival Foundation, an all-volunteer group of people from local organizations, service groups, businesses and faith groups. Proceeds are shared with local organizations that serve the community.
