Geneva’s State Street Jewelers celebrates 40th anniversary

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce was happy to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Batavia Chamber member State Street Jewelers with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The Batavia Chamber joined the Geneva Chamber of Commerce to honor the long-standing Geneva jewelry store located at 230 S. State St.

Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns presided over the ceremony along with Jeffrey Hampton, owner of State Street Jewelers since 1985.

Along with their dedicated staff, the many well-wishers included Batavia Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Margaret Perreault, and Geneva Chamber President Paula Schmidt.

Established in 1952, State Street Jewelers has maintained a reputation for their highly educated staff, top-notch customer service and exceptional jewelry work, along with a dedication to the local community. Besides their sparkling array of retail jewelry, the store has a full-service jewelry repair and manufacturing studio on premises.

State Street Jewelers opens daily at 10 a.m. except on Sundays when they open at 11 a.m. They close at 4 p.m. on Sunday, 5 p.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday and Friday. Shop later, until 8 p.m., on Thursday.
